Lighting Requirements

• Professional HMI lighting is recommended  in order to ensure the best results :

-   Light stability must be ensured to prevent color and/or density disuniformity during the scan.  Professional HMI lighting provide a perfect power stabilization in order to ensure always the same lighting conditions during the scan. Professional HMI lighting  are also  flicker-free to avoid interferences between the light and the CCD timing.   

-    A powerful and efficient lighting is recommended  in order to optimize the scan time and also the image quality.  In fact, to lighten correctly oversize subjects, a powerfull lighting system is obviously required. Furthermore more light cause the exposure times to be shorter and also allow using optimal optical settings.

Professional HMI light provide a very high power efficiency, UV radiation filtering to respect all curatorial concerns when acquiring artistic/ historical subjects and also a very low heating of the subject due to low IR radiations .
